Project Description
A recreational space for children after school that contains sports activities (capoeira – fitness), in addition to unstructured psychological support activities for children and recreational activities to release negative energy from children, the target ages are from 6 to 14 years
Project goals:
• Supporting the psychological well-being of 50 children in Al-Qatar Street in Al-Raqqa city.
• Contributing to improving and relieving stress for 50 children on Al-Qatar Street in Al-Raqqa city.
• Contributing to improving flexibility and fitness for 50 children on Al-Qatar Street in Al-Raqqa city.
• Promoting the social integration of 50 children on Al-Qatar Street in the city of Al-Raqqa.
• Directing children’s behavior Distribute positive values on Al-Qatar Street in Al-Raqqa city.
• Keeping children away from dangerous places represented by destroyed buildings and train tracks.
Project activities:
Holding recreational lessons 4 days a week for children after school, the duration of the lesson is 2 hours
Training children to practice capoeira 4 lessons per week after school Duration of the lesson is 2 hours
Implementation of non-structured psychological support activities for children after school, the duration of the class is 2 hours
Training 25 children per class
Holding a competition and an interactive activity to honor the distinguished children.
