Initiative “#Hich_Rabina”
The “#Hich_Rabina” initiative aims to revive traditional games in Raqqa city in partnership with the Friends of the Museum Association, aiming to revive local cultural heritage and enhance social bonds among children. The initiative targets 300 children across four neighborhoods in the city, aiming to provide an educational and entertaining experience that strengthens their connection to local heritage and culture.
Activities:
- Reviving Traditional Games: Organizing educational and interactive sessions where children can learn and play traditional games such as spinning tops, hopscotch, tug-of-war, and others.
- Heritage Workshops: Conducting workshops to educate children about the history of traditional games and their cultural significance, helping them to understand local heritage more deeply.
- Group Competitions: Organizing friendly competitions among children in traditional games to promote sportsmanship and cooperation.
- Heritage Stories: Narrating traditional stories and tales related to the games to increase awareness of community history and heritage.
